Adammm House Inc. in the East Coast was named in honor of our founder’s mother Algia Brower Dockery, who was a pioneer and a model in community development. She was able to transfer her passion to her sons, most notably our founder, L.D. Dockery.
Our company’s historical reference involves the family of Madison and Annie Brower, the parents of Algia. With more than 40 years of experience in the education industry, we aim to continue the mission of Algia, which includes developing communities artistically, economically, educationally, socially, and spiritually. Our organization was initiated in 2009, simply as a community resource, but now we campaign to expand our services in a broader way.

Meet Our Founder
L.D. Dockery, also known as Zeke Docks, is our CEO AHI. He was born on July 15, 1948, to Thomas and Algia Dockery. As one of the four boys in his family, his childhood life was contained within the small community of Spout Springs, North Carolina. This had an impact in shaping his advocacy for the community which is “to live and breathe community.”
He thrives on his passions, which he calls his P’s of endurance. First of which is parenting his four children together with his wife Doris. In addition, he enjoys balancing his life between:
- Pastoring (2004-2016)
- Poetry Writing (Children and Adult Literature)
- Persuasion (Writing Socio-Economic and Faith Non-Fiction Books)
- Being a Professor (Mathematics)
- Performing (Jazz and Gospel Genre)
